Dr. Sufian Hadi is a dedicated consultant obstetrician and gynecologist with a special interest in gynecological laparoscopy and endometriosis. With over a decade of experience in women’s health, he is committed to providing advanced, minimally invasive surgical care and comprehensive treatment for complex gynecological conditions.
Dr. Sufian Hadi earned his medical degree from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) in 2002 and went on to complete his Master of Medicine (O&G) at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) in 2012. Since 2016, he has been practicing at Pantai Hospital Batu Pahat, where he manages a specialized Menstrual Disorder and Pelvic Pain Clinic. His expertise includes diagnosing and treating conditions such as endometriosis, uterine fibroids, adenomyosis, and ovarian cysts, with a strong focus on advanced laparoscopic and hysteroscopic procedures.
As a certified Level 2 GESEA surgeon, Dr. Sufian Hadi is actively pursuing his European Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy (ESGE) certification to further enhance his surgical skills and stay at the cutting edge of minimally invasive gynecological surgery. Additionally, he has completed training in vNOTES (Vaginal Natural Orifice Transluminal Endoscopic Surgery) and is integrating this technique into his practice, particularly for hysterectomies and selected gynecological procedures.
Beyond his clinical responsibilities, Dr. Sufian Hadi is passionate about advancing the field of gynecological endoscopy and sharing knowledge with peers. He is currently part of the organizing team for the First International Congress of the Advanced MIS, Robotic & Ablation Society of Malaysia (AMRAS), scheduled for May 2025. Actively engaged in professional development, he regularly participates in regional and international conferences and workshops, including the vNOTES workshop in India and the Train the Trainer workshop in Singapore.
Beyond his clinical practice, Dr. Sufian Hadi actively contributes to the advancement of gynecological endoscopy. He is a key organizer of the First International Congress of the Advanced MIS, Robotic & Ablation Society of Malaysia (AMRAS) and collaborates with global experts to bring pioneering surgical techniques to Malaysia.
